Billy Staffey

NEW MADRID - William Ray "Billy" Staffey, 47, died June 3, 2003, at his parents' home in New Madrid.

Born Oct. 21, 1955, in St. Louis, he was the son of William J.R. and JoAnn Staffey.

Survivors in addition to his parents include: one son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Tiffany Staffey of Minehart, N.D.; one daughter and son-in-law, Wendi and Brad Patterson of Portageville; two brothers, Tommy Calton of Lonedell and Brian D. Staffey of New Madrid; one sister, Peggy Drake of New Madrid; and three grandchildren, Mollie Grace Staffey, MacKenzie Faith Johnson and Travis Tanner Staffey.

He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Angie Staffey; and his grandparents, Bill and Luven Staffey and Charles and Myrtle Boldt.

No visitation is planned.

Private graveside services will be conducted at a later date at the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.
