Estes takes first in BassBuster tourney

KENTUCKY LAKE, Ky. -- The Bootheel BassBusters held their second tournament of the year on May 1st on Kentucky Lake out of KenLake Marina.

Mike Estes won the tournament with a six fish limit weighing 13 lbs. even. Mitch Allen was second with five fish weighing 11 lbs. 6 oz. and Ty Garrett was third with four fish weighing 9 lbs. 4 oz., including the big bass of the tournament, a 3 lb. 11 oz. fish. Leven Cox won the "Lucky Drawing".

Ty Garrett leads in the Angler-of-the-Year race with 276 points.

Mike Estes is second with 258 points and Leven Cox is third with 224 points.

The club travels to Lake Barkley on May 22nd for a tournament out of the Devil's Elbow launch ramp.
