SIKESTON - Ruby Nickell Neal, 92, died March 8, 2005 at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

Born March 26, 1912 in Strurdivant, daughter of the late Elmer and Ethel Bridges Propst, she was a member of the First Christian Church. She had worked for the International Show Company, retiring in 1974, and she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Missouri Delta medical Center.

On Dec. 13, 1931, she was married to Elvis Ralph Nickell who preceded her in death in October of 1975. Also preceding her in death was her son, Robert Elvis Nickell.

In August of 1999, she married Milton Neal who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Jim Nickell and Larry Nickell of Sikeston and Ralph Nickell of Dexter; one sister, Geneva Hobbs of St. Peters; and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon Friday until services begin at 2 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston with Dr. Alan Shriver, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sikeston Garden of Memories Cemetery.
