EAST PRAIRIE - Jill Hequembourg and Britton Childers are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 12:07 p.m. April 15, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Brynn Madison Childers weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 1/2-inches long.

Hequembourg, daughter of Don Hequembourg and LaDonna Hequembourg, is employed by McDonald's Food Mart.

Childers, son of Debbie Weddington and Danny Childers, is employed with the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department.

Great-grandparents are Charles and Mary Ketchum of Charleston, Katherine Hequembourg of Sikeston and Ruth Bratton of East Prairie.

SIKESTON - Nakashia Johnson and Joe Turner are the parents of their second child, first daughter, born at 10:41 p.m. April 10, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Tyla Lynique Johnson weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces and was 18-inches long.

Johnson, daughter of Teresa Johnson and Larry Patterson, is a certified nurse aid for the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

Turner, son of Doris Turner and Mose Jenkins, is self-employed with Northside Car Wash.

MATTHEWS - John and Renee Roach Jr. are the parents of their first child, a son, born April 10, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Jared Dean Roach weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Roach is the daughter of Carla Lutz and Gary Altobello.

Roach, son of Donna Startt and John D. Roach Sr., is a machinist.

SIKESTON - Timothy Wayne and Sonya Nicole Wilson are the parents of their first child, a daughter, born at 7:46 p.m. April 12, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Alexis Chyenne Wilson weighed 4 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Wilson is the former Sonya Kempfer, daughter of Tammy Clover of St. Charles and Kevin Kempfer of Murphysboro, Ill.

Wilson is the son of Sheila and Tim Wilson of Sikeston.

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Brandi Leigh Ziegler and Christopher Lee Kilburn are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 8:33 p.m. April 12, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Gavin Christopher Kilburn weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19-inches long.

Ziegler, daughter of Pam Jett of Sikeston and Randy Ziegler of Benton, is employed by the Missouri Veterans Home.

Kilburn, son of Hope Kilburn and Tom Kilburn of Benton, works for Cedar Street.
