SIKESTON -- Wanda Maxine Bolden, 78, died at 2:20 p.m. May 23, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Nov. 3, 1924, in Dogwood, daughter of the late Leonard and Effie Mae Heath Baker, she was a sales clerk at Wright's Jewelry and Moore's Hardware. A member of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, she was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star 137 and Ladies Bingo Club.
On June 30, 1943, in Sikeston, she married Louis A. Bolden who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ed Pratt of Sikeston; and seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Connie Campbell, on Nov. 13, 1995, and one brother.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. William F. Koch, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, and the Rev. Sandra Schaller, associate pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
