WYATT -- Rayburn D. Williams, 68, formerly of East Prairie, died at 5:20 p.m. Oct. 12, 2007, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born June 27, 1939, in Hickman, Ky., to the late Jake and Christine Hall Williams, he lived most of his life in Mississippi County where he was a farmer and a member of the New Convention Pentecostal Holiness.
On Dec. 8, 1994, he married Wanda Aday Williams who survives of the home.
Other survivors include:, three sons and one daughter-in-law, Tommy Williams of the state of Tennessee, Teddy Williams of Wyatt and Kevin and Amy Williams of Dexter; one daughter and son-in-law, Raylene and Steve Hardin of Ripley, Tenn.; four step-sons and one-daughter-in-law, Terry Ganus of Charleston, Robert Ganus of Hanover, Ill., Jeff and Sherrie Ganus of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Victor Ganus of Tamms, Ill.; two step-daughters and sons-in-law, Mona and Dave Linley and Barb and Mike Zuroski of Rockford, Ill.; three brothers, Marion Williams of Olive Branch, Ill., Wayne Williams of Brundidge, Ala., and Larry Williams of LaCenter, Ky.; four sisters, Jane Tripp of East Prairie, Flo Patrick of Karnak, Ill., Reba Jackson of Union City, Tenn., and Jeanne Adams of Lima, Ohio; and 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were one brother, Robert Williams; and one sister, Debra Pritchett.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Ken Gibson officiating.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: B.J. Wheatley, Tony Brannon, Jason Hunsperger, Billy Joe Thomas, Bobby Hall and Brent Nall.
