Stoddard County men are arrested on drug charges

BLOOMFIELD - Two Stoddard County men were arrested on drug related charges.

Randy Nelson Hoggard, 39, and Chad Allen Bostic, 34, of Bloomfield, were arrested after a lengthy investigation by the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department and the SEMO Drug Task Force.

A search warrant was served at 300 South Mulberry St. Sunday evening by the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department, SEMO Drug Task Force, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Dexter Police Department.

Hoggard was found to be in possession of approximately one ounce of crystal methamphetamine and a quantity of marijuana, scales and packing material associated with the intent to distribute illegal drugs.

He is charged with a Class C felony of possession of a controlled substance, Class A misdemeanor of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and a Class A misdemeanor of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bostic is charged with a Class A felony of possession of a controlled substance and Class A misdemeanor of drug paraphernalia.

Both are being held in the Stoddard County Jail. Bond for Hoggard is set at $75,000 cash only and Bostic's bond is set at $20,000 cash only.
