ORAN - Emma Guzman, 64, died at 6 p.m. Dec. 17, 2003, at her home.
Born March 23, 1939, in Nixon, Texas, daughter of the late Vidal and Susie Valdez Sauceda, she was of the Catholic belief.
On July 27, 1956, she married Arnold Guzman who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, J. David Guzman of Los Angeles, Calif., and A. Anthony Guzman of Bell City; one daughter, Linda Graviett of Bloomfield; five brothers, Eliso Sauceda, Alex Sauceda and John Sauceda of Oran, Raymond Sauceda of Sikeston and Vidal Sauceda Jr. of Bell City; eight sisters, Josephine Moreno of Nixon, Josie Turner and Sandra Turner of Oran, Betty Guzman of Morley, Dora Graham of Sikeston and Mary Brown and Lupe Freeze of Holly Springs, Miss.; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Two sons and three brothers preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church with the Rev. John Harth, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery.
