SIKESTON -- Here are Wednesday's results from Sikeston Area Youth Baseball:

JUNIOR BABE RUTH

Market Place 15, Noranda 1

Clay Lincoln and Kyle Rodgers were both 3-for-3, leading Market Place to a 15-1 victory. Ross Merideth was 2-for-2. Ryan Dicus and Zach Brooks also had hits. Merideth and Dicus both pitched for Market Place. Noranda saw hits from Eric Chappell, J.R. Bizzell, Danny Coppage, Jake Vanpool, Tyler Dame and Justin Deere. Bizzell, Deere, and Dame all threw in the loss.

US Bank 22, DeWitt Auction 4

Tyler Brooks and Joey Williams both had three hits each, leading US Bank to a blowout win over DeWitt Auction. Blake Walker and Josh Jackson each had two hits while Andy Gantner and Stave Ivie each contributed one. Gantner, Walker and Chris Vaughn all pitched for US Bank in the win, allowing a total of four hits. DeWitt's hits came from Cody Cooper, Spencer Ayers, Craig Millington and Robert St. John.

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Jaycees 11, Kiwanis 7

Brock was 2-for-3, leading the Jaycees to victory. Kimball and James both pitched for the Jaycees in the win, allowing five hits with five strikeouts. Rushing paced the Kiwanis offense, batting 3-for-3. Rushing, Dicus and Droddy all threw in the loss.

Lions 16, Lewis 8

Howard was 4-for-5, leading the Lions to a 16-8 win over Lewis. Limbaugh, Howard and Bell all pitched in the win, allowing just three hits with 10 strikeouts and six walks.

Hart paced Lewis, batting 2-for-3. Dillender and Green both pitched in the loss.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Elks 9, Sonny's 3

Obermark blasted a home run in the third inning, leading the Elks to a 9-3 win over Sonny's Solid Waste. Obermark finished the day 3-for-3 with two RBIs. Bryant also had a hit.

Obermark and Williams both pitched for the Elks. Sonny's saw hits from Balong, Garrett and Taylor. Young was charged with the loss.

Fabick 13, Blanchard 1

Fabick scored in all five innings, cruising past Blanchard 13-1. Jason got the win in five innings, allowing three hits and two walks. He was also solid at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two RBIs. Caleb, Ronnie and Luke were all 3-for-4. Aaron was 2-for-3. Blanchard saw hits from Brown, Copeland and Ramey. Gilliand and Hampton both pitched in the loss.

MUSIAL LEAGUE

Standard Democrat 9, Leible 5

Colby was 3-for-3, leading the Standard Democrat to a 9-5 win. Ross and Evan were both 2-for-3 and Jordan also had a hit. Jason and Evan both pitched in the win. Daniel Sanders led Leible, going 3-for-3. Ryan Long was charged with the loss.

Sikeston Auto 9, Nunnelee 7

Nathan Rodgers and Zach Myers were both 3-for-3, leading Sikeston Auto to a 9-7 win over Nunnelee. Dillion Kimball also had a hit. Rodgers and Jacob Murphy both pitched in the win.

For Nunnelee, Bryan, Ben, Caleb and Roy all had hits. Ben and Caleb both pitched in the loss.

ROOKIE LEAGUE

Randy's Rx 8, Ferguson 3

Randy's Rx saw hits from Kyle, Issac, Lee, Colton, Hayden and Hunter. Ferguson saw hits from T. Scott, K. Smith, C. Alley, M. Blanton and B. Glause.

First Midwest 11, Dairy Queen 6

First Midwest Bank saw hits from T. McMillan, C. Landers, A. Little, B. Hoskins, C. Evans and B. Hoskins. Dairy Queen saw hits from H. Williams, M. Gipson, E. Scherer, W. Fisher, B. Murray J. Stinnett and M. Fowler.

Jim Wilson 8, Discount Rentals 3

Jim Wilson saw hits from A. Erwin, C. Hampton, D. Garner, J. Condict, D. Hoskins, A. Burks, C. Black and A. Neal. Discount Rentals saw hits from D. Mason, T. Pyland, J. Boyd, C. Davis, A. Dill, and C. Baran.

JUNIOR BABE RUTH

First National 16, Elks 7

Eric Burton was 4-for-4 with five RBIs and Kinder was 3-for-3 with three RBIs, leading First National to a 16-7 victory. Martin Shaeffer was 3-for-4, and Zach Culver, Chris Carnell and Bryce Wibbenmeyer were all 2-for-3. Culver, Carnell and Shaeffer all pitched in the win. For the Elks, Caleb McClellan led the charge, batting 2-for-3. Other hits came from Ryan Beaird, Colt Pruitt, Whitney Wilson, Jacob Owens and Evans. Wilson, McClellan, Gilliand and Ryan Beaird all threw in the loss.

US Bank 2, KSIM 1

Tyler Brooks and Andy Gantner combined to throw a four-hitter, thwarting an excellent pitching performance by KSIM's Jerod Scott.

Scott allowed just one hit over five innings, but walked five. US Bank's only hit came from Gerald Winfield. KSIM saw hits from Tyler Baker, Jerod Scott, Phillip Harris and Chris Carnell.

Elks 22, DeWitt Auction 1

Colt Pruitt blasted a grand slam in the fifth inning, leading the Elks to a dominating win over DeWitt Auction. Whitney Wilson also had a two-run shot in the inning. Tim Miller finished the day 3-for-5 with four RBIs. Caleb McClellan was 2-for-2 with two RBIs. Cullen DeHart also contributed a hit. DeHart and McClellan both pitched in the win, combining for a one-hitter. Spencer Ayers had DeWitt's only hit. Cody Cooper, Brandon Ayers and Spencer Ayers all threw in the loss.

KSIM 3, First National 2

Jerod Scott rang up 10 strikeouts and issued just one walk in a 3-2 win over First National Bank.

Travis Hudson paced the squad at the plate, batting 2-for-3 with an RBI. KSIM also saw hits from Greg Davis, Tyler Baker and Chris Monroe. Jason Hoyer led First National's offense, going 2-for-2 with an RBI. Other hits came from Martin Shaeffer, Eric Burton and Chris Carnell. Shaeffer was charged with the loss.

US Bank 7, Noranda 2

Tyler Brooks got the win, allowing three hits and four walks with eight strikeouts. At the plate, Andy Gantner and Stan Ivie led the charge with two hits each.
