Locals win CAYSA tourney

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Sikeston Attack, a 1-2 grade girls soccer team, recently took first place in the CAYSA Tournament in Cape Girardeau.

The playoff game against Perryville went into two periods of golden goal overtime. After two periods of overtime the game went into a shootout. Goalie Elizabeth Raines only allowed one goal in six shots. Kristin King and Jessica Menz scored for Sikeston to win 2-1.
