Carter, son of David Carter and Edna Carter, is a meat cutter at the Sikeston Market Place.

SIKESTON - Chershuna L. Gipson is the mother of her third child, first son, born at 7:10 a.m. Oct. 9, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Jamelvion Allante' Banks weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19 1/4-inches long.

Grandparents are Lillie Banks and Melvin Banks.

SIKESTON - Rachel Haney and Mark Davis are the parents of their first child, a son, born at 3:20 p.m. Oct. 9, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Mason Ryan Davis weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 19-inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Diane Haney and Randy Haney.

Paternal grandparents are Michael and Gloria Triplett of East Prairie and Jimmy Dale Davis of New Madrid.
