SALEM - Anita Geary, 83, died Sept. 14, 2002, at the Salem Nursing Center.
Born Dec. 23, 1918, in Ackerman, Miss., she was a former resident of Bird's Corner and Dexter and was of the Protestant belief.
On March 2, 1935, in Osceola, Ark., she married Jesse Geary who preceded her in death on June 22, 1985.
Survivors include: two sons, Lee Geary of Salem and Lawrence Geary of Aquilla; one brother, Charley Polley of St. Louis; one sister, Helen Donaldson of Kimmswick; and five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Bill Stack of Salem will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery near Dexter.
