SIKESTON -- Philip and Mechelle Banks have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Jane, to Joshua David Holmes, son of David Holmes of Bertrand and Trish Weathers of Sikeston.

A 2004 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School, the future bride is employed by Wal-Mart.

The prospective bridegroom is also a 2004 graduate of Sikeston High School and works for Dave's Security Locksmith.

Plans are under way for a summer 2006 wedding.
