Go, turtles, Go!

Area youngsters cheer their turtles on during the New Hamburg Picnic turtle races Saturday evening. Approximately 50 turtles were entered in the competition with 12 turtles racing in a heat. The top three finishers of each heat went on to the final race with Seth Essner of Benton ultimately winning first place.
