DEXTER - For practical purposes, the girls game between Charleston and New Madrid County Central ended with a 3:22 remaining on the clock. That's when Charleston's Latricia Brown nailed the game's final field goal - a three pointer - and cut NMCC's lead to 58-57. From there, both teams went cold to the floor. But the Lady Eagles hit five of six free throws down the stretch and pulled out a 63-57 win in the semifinals of the 3A District 1 Tournament Thursday.
