Dorothy Sliger

VANDALIA -- Dorothy L. Davis Sliger, 63, died March 21, 2005.

Born March 23, 1941, daughter of Naomi Davis of Sikeston and the late M.H. Davis, she a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Vandalia.

Her husband, Fred H. Sliger, survives of the home.

In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Joanie Sliger of LaGrange; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Jeff Nahlik of High Ridge and Rebecca and Scott Mote of Dupo, Ill.; one stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Herbert and Susan Sliger of Jacksonville, Ill.; one sister, Beatrice Davis of High Ridge; two brothers, Jimmy Davis of Sikeston and Jerry Davis of Liberty; and 10 grandchildren.

Services were conducted Thursday at Jay B. Smith Fenton Chapel in Fenton. Burial followed in Shephard Hill.
