GRAVOIS MILLS - David Lee Campbell, 51, formerly of Sikeston, died at 6:20 p.m. Dec. 11, 2004, at his home.
Born May 6, 1953, in Stoddard County, son of Virgil Campbell of Fairdealing and Christine Brannon Campbell of Gravois Mills, he was an auto body mechanic and had also been employed by Danny Lambert Construction.
He was first married to JoAnn Campbell of Pell City, Ala. On Feb. 28, 1986, in Benton, he married Diana Richards of Sikeston.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Linda Lee Campbell Boatwright of Pell City; one brother, Virgil Campbell Jr. of Belleville, Ill.; seven sisters, Juanita Haynes of Sikeston, Barbara Goforth and Sharon Campbell of Gravois Mills, Janice Mace of Dexter, Shirley Sugg of Cahokia, Ill., Janet Young of Tulsa, Okla., and Ann Costin of Nashville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Joshua Campbell.
Services were conducted Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Curtis True officiated.
Burial followed in the Blodgett Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Joey Jones, Dwight Young, Terry Mace, Dale Vaughn Jr., Ricky Haynes and Ronnie Haynes.
