SCOTT CITY -- Camella Ann Schleinger, 65, died at 1:30 p.m. May 18, 2005, at her home.
Born Sept. 29, 1939, in Charter Oak, daughter of the late James F. and Essie Mae Hicks Brantley, she was a clerical worker for the Division of Family Services in Cape Girardeau. A member of the General Baptist Church in Scott City, she was a former Cub Scout den mother and Girl Scout leader.
On Oct. 2, 1960, in Scott City, she married Fred Schleinger Jr. who preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1992.
One son, Terry Wayne Schleinger; two brothers; one sister; and one grandchild also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Tim Schleinger and Jim Schleinger of Scott City and Rick Schleinger of Benton; one daughter, Angela Schleinger of Scott City; one brother, Jerry Brantley of Scopus; one sister, Gay Davis of Rapid City, S.D.; and eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Revs. Larry Rouse, Charles Lance and John Davis will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
Pallbearers will be: Doug Brantley, Brandon Brantley, Cliff Brantley, Bryan Brantley, Josh Trapp and Mike Martin.
