GREENFIELD - Ollie Jewell Warman, 85, formerly of Charleston, died at 8:45 p.m. Aug. 9, 2004, at the Dade County Nursing Facility in Greenfield.
Born Oct. 20, 1918, in Chic, Tenn., daughter of the late Walter and Alice Lowrance Tipton, she moved to Charleston in 1952 where she was a member of the Church of Christ for 45 years. After moving to Springfield in 1998, where she became a member of the Kansas Expressway Church of Christ, she relocated to Greenfield in 2003.
On May 17, 1951, she married Arthur Gilbert Warman who preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1990.
Survivors include: two sons, Paul Watkins of Longview, Texas, and Don Watkins of Springfield; one daughter, Diane Pogue of Lamar; and 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Marion Joyce Watkins; two brothers, Dewey Tipton and John Tipton; and three sisters, Louise Epperson, Mabel Worley and Pleasie McDonald.
Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until service time at 11 a.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Ray Sullins, minister of the Kansas Expressway Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
