SIKESTON -- Dorothy Ann Walker, 54, died May 8, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Nov. 26, 1950, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Leonard and Mattie Jones Jackson, she was a 1968 graduate of Sikeston Public Schools and a member of the West End Missionary Baptist Church for over 20 years. In 1998, she co-founded Rhema Word Breakthrough International Ministries and worked as a personal assistant and corresponding secretary.
In 1969, she married Willie B. Walker.
Survivors include: three sons, Willie Walker Jr., Vallet Walker and Brian Walker of Sikeston; two daughters, Ylonda Walker of Denver, Colo., and Terra Walker of Dayton, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Doretha Lindsey of St. Louis; two sisters, Jo Ann McCauley of Sikeston and Adell Ivy of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one stepsister, Idell Osborne of Chicago; and one stepbrother, the Rev. Charles L. Jones of St. Louis.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the Rhema Word Breakthrough International Ministries in Cape Girardeau, where services will begin at noon Saturday. The Rev. Ronald Williams and Dr. Anthony Green will officiate.
Burial will follow in the J.C. Pullen Memorial Cemetery at Bell City.
