DIEHLSTADT - Edna L. Claycomb, 91, died at 9:40 p.m. Feb. 12, 2005, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born April 23, 1913, in Diehlstadt to the late John and Ada Cooper Michael, she was a housewife and a member of the St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston.
On April 16, 1930, in Cairo, Ill., she married Henry F. Claycomb, who preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 1984.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Emmett and Mary Claycomb of Diehlstadt; two daughters, Eleanor Murphy of Sun Lakes, Ariz., and Diane Wells of Diehlstadt; one brother, Max Michael of Charleston; one sister, Marie Bollinger of Benton; and five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, one great-grandson, three brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where prayer services will be conducted at 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston with Msgr. Stephen Schneider, pastor of the St. Henry's Catholic Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Tom Bollinger, Bill Bollinger, Ronnie MIchael, Max Michel lJr., Jeff Murphy and Kenny Burns
