SIKESTON - Mr. and Mrs. Cleonard Coats have sold their home at 237 E. Gladys to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Reynolds of Pharris Ridge, who will move there in about two months.

SIKESTON - Sikeston Planning and Zoning Commission members approved a revised city sign ordinance and tabled action on a preliminary plan for development of Hunter Acres West during Tuesday night's meeting at the City Administration Building. The City Council repealed the sign ordinance in January and instructed a sign ordinance committee to prepare a new ordinance. The ordinance, which will now be submitted to the City Council for consideration, carried recommendations of committee members and area businessmen who attended meetings to design the ordinance.
