DEXTER - Gladys Farmer, 75, died Jan. 26, 2005, at her home.
Born Aug. 30, 1929, in Advance, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph and Millie Marie Elledge Dunning. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church and had been employed by the International Hat Company in Dexter.
On Oct. 30, 1948, at Piggott, Ark., she married Charles Farmer who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Patricia Ann Cooper and Janie Marie Adams of Dexter; one sister, Betty Jane Parker of Dexter; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Arthur Dunning and Monroe Dunning, preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Robert Bentley, Jimmy Kirby and Darrell Faire officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
