CHARLESTON - Joyce Marie Riley, 34, died Jan. 22, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 18, 1970, in Charleston, daughter of Otha Riley of Charleston and Josh Oscar Miller Jr. of Fort Wayne, Ind., she was a member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Wyatt. She was a certified nurse aide for many years and later became a medical technician and general practical nurse.
Survivors in addition to her parents include: four sons, Fadenick Riley of Phoenix, Ariz., and Michael Banks, Mikel Banks and Hershel Banks of the home; 17 sisters, Sonya Miles, Doris Kent, Flora Murray, Priscilla Riley and Judith Riley of Charleston, Eddie Mae Washington of Wilson City, Sgt. Sonya Miller of Cairo, Ill., Judy Pratcher and Jennifer Miller of Cape Girardeau, Mary Owens, Betrice Riley of Phoenix, Sharia Miller, Angela Miller, Natalie Miller, Nicole Miller and Amanda Serrano of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Jeanetta Johnson of Springfield; nine brothers, Jimmie Lendell of Wilson City, Bobby Riley of Phoenix, Victor Riley of Farmington, Walter Lindell of Sikeston, Charles Washington of Pacific, John Miller III and John Constant of Fort Wayne, Harold Wallard of Michigan City, Mich., and Damion Jones of Angela, Ind.; and a special friend, Danny Hart of Charleston.
Visitation is from noon Saturday until service time at 2 p.m. at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston with Elder Lemmie D. Pulliam officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Williams Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
