COMMERCE - Betty Jane Gibbar, 69, died at 4:30 a.m. Jan. 26, 2005, at her home.
Born April 30, 1935, in Lilbourn, daughter of the late Albert and Gladys Jones Vincent, she was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Sikeston.
On Sept. 23, 1950, at Piggott, Ark., she married John "Mike" Gibbar who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Majiel Gibbar of Gallatin; one daughter and son-in-law, Leatha and Roger Morgan of Commerce; two sisters, Aliene Gibbar of Scott City and Lorena Hunt of Carrollton, Texas; and two grandchildren, Anthony Morgan and Edward Morgan.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday with John Howells officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
Pallbearers will be: Anthony Morgan, Edward Morgan, Clem Quade and Kurt Quade.
