DEXTER - Carl Davis, 75, died Feb. 17, 2005, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.
Born June 22, 1929, at Shook, son of the late Howard Roscoe and Maude Morgan Davis, he was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter. A former teacher at Dudley, he was a teacher and administrator for the Dexter Public School System and served as superintendent from 1979-81. He was also a member of the Stoddard County Retired Teachers' Association.
On Nov. 19, 1949, at Piggott, Ark., he married Mary Ellen Wilkerson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Marsha Adams of Dexter and Carol Davis and Lisa Robertson of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Delbert Davis of Poplar Bluff and Bob Davis of Stillman Valley, Ill.; two sisters, Betty Morgan of Poplar Bluff and Pat Witt of Springfield; and five grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Vyron Yount will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery at Shiloh.
