LILBOURN - Martin H. Bondurant Jr., 80, formerly of Union City, Tenn., died Feb. 16, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born March 4, 1924, in Union City, son of the late Martin H. and Bessie Brown Bondurant, he lived in Lilbourn for the past 54 years and was a member of the Parma United Methodist Church. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he had worked for the state agriculture department and also in agriculture sales.
On Jan. 11, 1953, he married Opal Womack at the Parma United Methodist Church. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Martin H. and Donna Bondurant of High Ridge and Scott and Joy Bondurant of Olathe, Kan.; three grandchildren, Justin and Rebecca Bondurant of Fenton and Brendan Bondurant and Cory Bondurant of Olathe; and other relatives and friends.
The Missouri Military Honors Program conducted graveside rites at 1 p.m. today at the Missouri State Veterans' Cemetery in Bloomfield. The service was officiated by Dr. Bill Reid of Lilbourn.
Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Parma was in charge of arrangements.
