FLINT, Mich. - Exa Fair Hodge, 85, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died May 31, 2005, at the McLaren Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 25, 1920, in Fulton, Miss., daughter of the late Oscar and Florence Delaney Steele, she was a charter member of Friendship Baptist Church in Dexter.

On Feb. 29, 1936, at Gilmore, Ark., she married Ezra Daniel Hodge who preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1985.

Survivors include: one son, Harold David Hodge of Clio; one daughter, Barbara Jones of Dexter; two brothers, J.T. Steele of Turrell, Ark., and Grady Steele of Trivoli, Ill.; two sisters, Willa Dean Reich of Fulton, Miss., and Emma Jean Kelly of Brooksville, Fla.; and eight grandchildren and four great-

grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were one son, Jerald Hodge; four brothers, Cecil Steele, Clyde Steele, Trumal Steele and Ralph Steele; and three sisters, Vina Davis, Norma Jackson and Rhoda Orr.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Lonnie Mittag will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Chalk Bluff Cemetery at Dexter.
