Born Sept. 26, 1941, in Greenwood, Miss., son of the late Anaise Green Sr. and Nettie Anothy, he was a farmer.
Survivors include: two sons, Edward Green and Tommy Green of Baltimore, Md.; three daughters, Betty Jean Hardy, Betty Ann Green and Marilyn Richerson of Baltimore; three brothers, Willie "Eddie" Green and Joe Lewis Green of Okeechobee, Fla., and Robert Jefferson Green of Washington, D.C.; two sisters, Chaney Hoskins and Sammie Robinson of New Madrid; and eight grandchildren.
One daughter preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Richards Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in New Madrid with the Rev. Leotis Atkins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
