CAPE GIRARDEAU - Luther Lee Arnold Jr., 80, died at 2:45 p.m. Aug. 14, 2007, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 27, 1927, in Qulin, to the late Luther and Anna Johnson Arnold, he was a former science and art teacher at Chaffee High School. He was the shuttle bus driver for Southeast Missouri Hospital, attended The First Baptist Church in Chaffee and was a member of the VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau. A U.S. Army veteran, he served during World War II and the Korean War and retired after 23 years of service.
Survivors include: two sisters, Glendola Shell of Scott City and Bernadean Kerley of Chaffee.
In addition to his parents, one sister preceded him in death.
No services will be conducted.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Home of Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
