SCOTT CITY - Edna Margaret Held Hagan, 92, died at 2:37 a.m. Feb. 1, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 28, 1912, in Illmo, daughter of the late Dave and Amelia Sander Held, she had been engaged in farming and was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.
On Dec. 17, 1928, at Commerce, she married Omer L. Hagan who preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1992.
One son, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Eugene O. Hagan of Deering, Ga., and Robert M. Hagan Sr. and Lawrence D. Hagan of Scott City; one daughter, Gussie Essner of Scott City; two sisters, Vera Mae Lohmann and Marie Burger of Scott City; and 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Eisleben Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bob Azinger officiating.
Burial will follow in the Eisleben Lutheran Church Cemetery.
