SCOTT CITY - Joyce Bostick Morrow, 76, died May 16, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born June 8, 1928, in Golden, Miss., to the late Jack Bostick and Georgia Bostick Runions, she had lived in the Charleston area where she was a member of the Charleston Country Club, the Molly French Garden Club and the United Methodist Church. In 1986 she moved to Tupelo, Miss., where she worked for the Girl Scouts of America and cared for her mother returning to Missouri in 1998 to live with her daughter and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles William Runions.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Susan Morrow Oakley and Stanley Walter Oakley of Scott City; one son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Blane and Lesa Cantrell Morrow of Bertrand; two sisters, Sybil Gardner and Jackie Hughes of Tupelo; and two grandchildren, Stanley Timothy Oakley and Marian Lea Oakley of Scott City; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Thursday until time for services at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay, Ala. Dewayne McDuff will officiate.
Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
