Tena Hunt

EAST PRAIRIE - Tena Agnes Hunt, 85, died at 6:15 a.m. Nov. 14, 2003, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born April 30, 1918, at Hillsboro, daughter of the late William and Hassie Evans Thomure, she lived in East Prairie most of her life, where she was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church.

On Aug. 28, 1937, she married John Joseph Hunt who preceded her in death on April 29, 1979.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie and Sheila Hunt of East Prairie; one daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Carl Hall of Lowndes; two sisters, Lena Presson of Springdale, Ark., and Margie Burgess of St. Louis; and six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Ronald Wayne Hunt; and one grandson four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday with James Bolden, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery.
