Joe Kneezle

BENTON - Donald "Joe" Kneezle, 55, died at 7:35 p.m. May 28, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 29, 1949, in Benton to the late Leslie Roy Kneezle and Monzella Mary Griffaw, he was employed as an auto body painter and was a member of the Unity Baptist Church at Benton.

On July 25, 1976, at Los Angeles, Calif., he married Arleen Marie Ashton, who survives.

Also surviving are: three sons, Kyle Kneezle of Cape Girardeau and Curtis Kneezle and Christopher Kneezle of Benton; one daughter, Cindy Mena of Rockford, Ill; two brothers, Roy Kneezle of Victorville, Calif., and Jim Kneezle of Fontana, Calif.; two sisters, Linda Nicosia of West Minister, Calif., and Pamela Kneezle of Cypress, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Craig, who died April 11, 2004.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Unity Baptist Church until time for services at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Dennis Lowe will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Unity Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Amick-

Burnett Funeral Chapel.
