Ashlynn Nichole Pratt weighed 9 pounds and was 21 1/2-inches long. Mrs. Pratt is the former Melissa Beardsley, daughter of John Beardsley and Susan Beardsley of Sikeston.

Pratt, son of Dale Pratt and Mary Ann Pratt of Cadet, is self-employed.

CHARLESTON - Jim and Melissa Housman are the parents of their fourth child, third son, born at 2:04 p.m. May 31, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Damon Marshall Housman weighed 6 pounds and was 18 3/4-inches long.

Mrs. Housman is the daughter of Trudie and Kenneth Knupp.

Housman, son of James and Donna Housman, is a correctional officer.

SIKESTON - Steve and Cheryl Watkins are the parents of their second son, born at 1:45 a.m. May 31, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Eyan Scott Watkins weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20-inches long.

Mrs. Watkins is the daughter of Donald Thomas Voigt and Sherry Lynn Voigt.

Watkins is the son of Jimmy Dale Watkins and Barbara Nell Watkins.

SIKESTON - Darren and Jennifer Steelman are the parents of their first children, twin sons, born May 31, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. Benjamin Darren Steelman weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19-inches long and Seth McCoy Steelman weighed 4 pounds, 14 ounces and was 18 1/2-inches long.

Mrs. Steelman, daughter of Ron and Ellen McManus, is a speech-language pathologist.
