Could the paper possibly let me in on the Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate Edward Joseph Manley III and also the Democrat candidate for 161st District representative Wayne Pettit? I'd like to know where they stand on abortion and also where they are from, how to contact them and anything else that might be of importance and how one might get hold of one of their signs if they so choose.

We tried to find the information you were seeking, but without any success. Maybe someone in our SpeakOut audience can help.

I just want to say that a wonderful young man helped us last night at Wal-Mart. His name was Sergio and he works in the Garden Center. He was so helpful and polite. It was nice to see someone so friendly working there. I couldn't tell you the last time an employee there actually smiled, let alone helped us and be friendly. Thank you, Sergio.

I have important news for SpeakOut readers. Channels 37 and 39 can now be found on Sikeston's cable system. They are both pretty good. I don't know why they aren't shown on the Prevue channel, but with a forum like SpeakOut, who needs competent help down at the main office? You should flip over to them right now and see for yourself what's going on.

I'm concerning about Scott County. On County Road 448 there are several little hills where you can't see when someone is coming up over the other side of the road. My wife had a wreck on it. There have been several people who have had wrecks on that road this year. The road is not marked, there are no lines, double yellow lines that would tell people to stay on their own side of the road. Common sense should tell them that, but a lot of people don't. They recently put up a bus sign, indicating that there's a bus stop on a section of that road. I would like to see the county put lines on that road to make the area safer. I have tried to contact different county commissioners and they have never returned my calls. I'd like to know why.

I was reading where "Needy still needy" still need help, even though they're getting help. I know people who get food stamps and then give their groceries away to other people. I know there are elderly people who need assistance who can't get assistance. Something is wrong with the system and it needs to be corrected.

I'm trying to find someone who sells cottonseed meal. Does anybody know where I can find it. I've called at least 50 places and can't find anyone who sells it.
