SCOTT CITY - Hilbert Oscar Tuschoff, 79, died at 5:26 a.m. April 4, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 2, 1924, in Friedheim, son of the late Oscar and Mary Kester Tuschoff, he was a truck driver from 1964-86 for Stovall Block and Brick, formerly Guth Brothers Block and Brick. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim.
On July 3, 1965, at Illmo, he married Aileen Mae Redpath Brant who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Donna Tuschoff of Arnold; two stepsons, Bruno Brant of Blue Springs and Terry Brant of Council Grove, Kan.; two brothers, Harold Tuschhoff of Jackson and Harlan Tuschhoff of Sedgewickville; one sister, Helen Marie Koenig of Jackson; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One stepson preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. David Burge will officiate.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.
