NEW MADRID -- Julie Lee Anne Causey and Bobby Howell Aycock Jr. exchanged wedding vows in a 4 p.m. ceremony Sept. 27, 2003, at the Hunter Dawson Home in New Madrid. The Rev. Mike Cartwright performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Doug and Emily Causey Moore of Sikeston and parents of the bridegroom are Bobby and Doris Aycock Sr. of Parma. Grandparents are Mrs. Lige Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Moore.
A wedding wreath was placed at the front door of the home in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Shaw Aycock, Lige Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Lonie Causey, Mr. and Mrs. Will Shafer, Donnie Smith and Floyd Smith.
Vocalists Daniel Sexton, Cheryl White and musicians Gay French and students provided music for the ceremony. Selections included "Wind Beneath My Wings," "Canon in D," "I Can't Help Falling in Love," "From This Moment," "With Every Breath I Take," "I Finally Found Someone" and "Ode to Joy."
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose Allison Causey of New Madrid and Mysti Nunn of Cape Girardeau as her maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Evans of Cape Girardeau, Betsy White of Sikeston and Ashley Johnson. Junior bridesmaid was Morgan Johnson of Sikeston. Flower girls were Connor Moore, daughter of Tim Moore and Kelly Moore of Matthews; Madison Lathum, daughter of Mike and Sharon Lathum of Eads, Tenn.; and Catherine Small, daughter of Jamie and Brenda Small of Charleston.
Jerry Shaw of Parma attended the bridegroom as best man. Groomsmen were Joey Causey of New Madrid, Chad Causey of Sikeston, Barry Aycock of Parma, Brad Aycock of Dexter and Tim Martin of Bernie. Junior groomsman was Matthew Butler of Dudley. Ring bearers were Keil Causey, son of Joey and Allison Causey of New Madrid and Adam Johnson, son of Timmy and Tammy Johnson of Sikeston. Bert Todd of Risco and Ted Landers of Lilbourn served as ushers.
Guest book attendant was Andrea Roseman of Jackson and program attendants were Morgan Lathum of Eads and James Small of Charleston. Wedding coordinator was Linda Spencer Roberts of Jackson.
The wedding reception was held at the New Madrid Country Club, where guests were served by Tammy Johnson of Sikeston, Sharon Lathum of Eads, Brenda Small of Charleston and Barbara Knight of Parma.
Mr. and Mrs. Aycock are making their home in New Madrid.
