ADVANCE - Mack D. Haynie, 78, died June 1, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Nov. 16, 1925, at McGee, son of the late Roy and Pearl McGee Haynie Sr., he was a heavy equipment operator with Local Union 513 in St. Louis and was also a cattle farmer. A 1944 graduate of Zalma High School, he was a member of the Advance United Methodist Church and Advance Masonic Lodge for 50 years.
On Oct. 29, 1948, at Puxico, he married Betty DeCelis who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and John Price and Nancy and Dan Mueller of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, James Haynie of Atlanta and Roy Haynie Jr. of Farmington; one sister, Dorothy Hill of Hazelwood; and one granddaughter, Mackenzie Price of Cape Girardeau.
Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday. The Revs. Virgl Bunch and Keith Price will officiate.
Burial will follow in the McGee New Hope Cemetery at McGee.
