SIKESTON -- Michelle Ivie-Drury and David Brashear exchanged wedding vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony Feb. 14, 2004, at Tanner Street Church of God before the Rev. John Siegs.
The bride is the daughter of Betty Ivie and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ivie of East Prairie and parents of the bridegroom are Lawrence and Pat Brashear of Sikeston.
Vocalists Ray Stidham and Sandra Zielinski and musician Danny Freeland provided music for the occasion.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Maid of Honor Joy Koepp of Diehlstadt and Junior Maid of Honor Haley Ivie of Charleston. Also attending the bride were bridesmaids Julie Snider and Annette Alsup of Diehlstadt, Jayna Gilmore of Sikeston, Beth Eldridge of Commerce, Debbie Ivie of Charleston and Patty Brashear of Sikeston.
Best man was Mike Brashear of Sikeston and Junior Best Man was Trey Drury of Diehlstadt, son of the bride. Groomsmen were Josh Marret of Cardwell, Nick Kennedy and Corey Lenderman of Sikeston, Rodney Eldridge of Commerce and Allen Meeks and Justin Wibbenmeyer of Sikeston. Ushers were Tony Branam and Nick Kennedy.
Candlelighters were Kyle Brashear and Chelsea Zielinski and attending the guest registry were Alyssa Alsup and Nicole Kennedy.
The wedding reception was held in the Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo Grounds Sponsors Building where guests were served by Julie Warren of Manila, Ark., Melanie Folts of Des Arc, Ark., Donna Deloach and Debbie Meeks of Sikeston and Debbie Stidham of Berryville, Ark.
Mr. and Mrs. Brashear and Trey Drury are making their home in Diehlstadt.
