BLOOMFIELD - Ruth Marie Wilson, 94, died April 6, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare in Bloomfield.
Born May 7, 1909, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late Albert and Lura Huggins Cossairt, she was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield. A lifetime member of the Christian Church in Bloomfield, she served as a clerk in the Bloomfield Probate Court for several years in the 1950s and 1960s.
She was first married to Chesley Culbertson and later married Paul Wilson. Both husbands preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Don Culbertson of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Helen Brockmire of Collinsville, Ill.; and four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Ira Cossairt, Arthur Cossairt, Robert Cossairt, Charles Cossairt and Ralph Cossairt; and two sisters, Cassie Gaines and Mary Elanor Werneck.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Thursday until service time at 11 a.m. at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Gaines will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
