MURRAY, Ky. - Rosa Ivy, 94, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died at 9:40 p.m. April 6, 2004, at the Westview Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 2, 1909, in Kennett, Mo., daughter of the late Calvin and Nellie McKenzie Green, she was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Her husband, Hubert L. Ivy, preceded her in death in 1978.
Survivors include: two daughters, Dorothy McGee and Dr. Virginia Lee Kim of Murray; one brother, Bill Green of Ozark, Mo.; one sister, Florance Phillips of Asheville, N.C.; and three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Cleo Williams; two brothers, Warner Green and Robert Reynolds; and one grandson, Bradley Krech.
Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Churchill-Imes Family Funeral Home in Murray.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Mo. The Revs. Dennis Norvel and Dolan Rogers will officiate.
Relatives and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Friday at Temple Baptist Church in Sikeston.
