DEXTER - Alice Louise Oliver, 84, died April 6, 2004, at Cypress Point Health Care in Dexter.
Born Feb. 8, 1920, at Senath, daughter of the late William Henry and Parlee Tatum Bishop, she attended the Southwest Church of the Nazarene.
On June 25, 1956, at Kennett, she married Orla E. "Dike" Oliver who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 1973.
Survivors include: three sons, Larry Bishop of Grand Blanc, Mich., Dick Oliver of Smithfield, Va., and Richard Oliver of Keyes, Calif.; one daughter, Peggy King of Dexter; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were three sons, Joe Oliver, Jerry Lynn Oliver and Dorse Oliver; six brothers, Hubert Bishop, Woodrow Bishop, Henry Bishop, Wayne Bishop and two in infancy; one half brother, Lewis Bishop; two sisters, Imogene Clark and Mildred Smith; and two half sisters, Louella Kirby and Zola Thorn.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Revs. Ed Stoner and Gerald Beam will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
