LILBOURN - James Raidt, 80, died April 9, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 4, 1924, in Corning, Ark., son of the late James and Ivy Mae Raidt, he was a plumber.

In 1947, he married Betty Bush and she survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Johnny Raidt of Lilbourn; three daughters, Betty Hughey, Kathy Rainwater and Linda Shelby of Lilbourn; three sisters, Willie Mae Brock of Lilbourn, Ruby Akins of Hayti and Genevieve Becker of St. Louis; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one son, James Raidt and one brother, one sister and two grandchildren.

Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn.

Burial followed in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
