James Householder

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- James Edward Householder, 64, died April 10, 2004, at the John Cochran VA Hospital in St. Louis.

Born Oct. 25, 1939, in Marston, son of the late Oather Edward and Christine Rettig Householder, he was a computer technician for the United States government and was a retired sergeant of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Eddie Jones of New Madrid; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Flora Householder of Bay Point, Calif.; two sisters, Doris Hendricks of Cape Girardeau and Marie Hunter of New Madrid; one brother, Jerry Householder of Benton; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, James Howard Householder, and one grandson, Kyle Jones.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid.

No funeral services are scheduled.
