Sikeston JV loses in first round of tournament

CAPE GIRARDEAU - The Sikeston junior varsity soccer team lost in the first round of the Cape Central Junior Varsity Tournament on Monday night, 5-1.

Cape Central is seeded second while Sikeston is seeded seventh.

The Bulldogs' lone goal was scored by Ashton Cantrell on an assist by Sam Rains.

Sikeston will play today at 4 p.m. against Farmington.
