Sikeston Standard Democrat: Obituaries: Magdline Roberts (05/26/05)

ST. LOUIS -- Magdline Mary Roberts, 80, died May 24, 2005, at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis.

Born Aug. 26, 1924, in Collinwood, Tenn., daughter of the late Charlie and Ella Fraley Bryant, she was a former resident of Bloomfield but had lived in St. Louis for the past 12 years. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.

On Nov. 30, 1944, she married Harold Henry Roberts who preceded her in death on June 10, 1989.

Survivors include: two sons, James Harold Roberts of Florissant and Troy Lynn Roberts of Panama Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Martha Ann Hayman of St. Ann; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Kevin Eskew will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
