BLOOMFIELD -- An investigation into several thefts of copper wire from irrigation systems has resulted in the arrest of three Puxico residents.
Brandy Reynolds, Timothy Hart and Charley Reynolds were charged with four counts of class C felony stealing and four counts of class D felony property damage after the investigation confirmed they were involved in a multi-county theft ring of copper wire, said Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner.
The sheriff's department was working with Bollinger County Sheriff's Department in the investigation after reports of numerous thefts of copper wire from Center Pivot Irrigation Systems in Stoddard County and surrounding areas.
Bond was set at $35,000 cash only for Brandy Reynolds and at $50,000 cash only for Hart and Charley Reynolds. The trio remains in Stoddard County Jail awaiting arraignment.
Hefner said more arrests are anticipated.
