EAST PRAIRIE - Fay Eva McGill, 81, died at 2:15 p.m. March 12, 2005, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Sept. 22, 1923, at Pope, Tenn., to the late James Irl and Beulah O'Dell Stinnett Weems, she lived in East Prairie most of her life and was affiliated with the Baptist church.
On Nov. 17, 1943, she married James Harrison McGill, who preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1986. One son, Jimmy Ray McGill; one daughter, Linda Fay Hutson; five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death also.
Survivors include: three sons, John and Charles McGill of East Prairie and Steve McGill of Anniston; one daughter, Peggy McGill of East Prairie; two sisters, Golden Day of Addison, Ala., and Bonnie McClain of East Prairie; and eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Mike Johnson will officiate.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby and Phillip Carlyle, Curtis and Larry Boyer and Eugene and Kenny Weems.
