SIKESTON - Florence Imarene Moore, 92, died May 5, 2007, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston.
Born Dec. 3, 1914, in Holcomb, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Flora Oakes Reagor. She attended the First Christian Church and was an active member of the C.W.F. She owned and operated Moore's Ace Hardware in Sikeston before retiring in 1977.
On May 9, 1936, she married James Herbert Moore Sr. who preceded her in death Jan. 2, 1981. In 1941, they moved to Sikeston where they were well-loved and respected by a wide circle of friends and business associates.
Survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Marcia Moore of Dallas and Suzann and Tommy Romines of Matthews; three sisters, Nell Williams of Little Rock, Ark., Wathena Mayfield of Muncie, Ind., and Lee Ann Morgan of Flint, Mich.; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
One son, James Herbert Moore Jr.; one brother, David "Sonny" Reagor; and one sister, Betty McDaniel, preceded her in death.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church. The Rev. Mary McCord, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
